Our current list of project motorcycles:

Suzuki RGV500.

The ever popular RG500 engine in the RGV250 chassis. Its been done by many people with varying degrees of success. Some say its the ultimate stroker road bike. Our bike does not use any of the available engine mount kits. We have manufactured all our own mounts and heavily braced the inside of the frame. We plan on running Ohlins suspension and Brembo brakes. Engine will be rebuilt but will have a modest 120HP. Its been ongoing for a while now but with all our customer repairs and parts sales are finding it increasingly difficult to find the time to carry out any productive work on this project.

RGV500

Suzuki RGV250 SP VJ22 model.

This project is basically a rebuild and refurbish of our VJ22 SP thats been sitting here for quite some time. We were going to wreck it out but its in such good condition its a shame to kill this little SP. There are always more SP's that find their way here anyway. Our plan is for a 70 + HP bike but it must me rideable on the street. We have built a few before but they were customer jobs. This bike's engine will feature modified cylinders and heads, built crank and will feature a close ratio gearbox with the rare race kit dry clutch setup and race kit magneto ignition. The exhausts will be Sugaya to keep the Japanese flavour.

RGV250 VJ22 SP

Suzuki RGV250 SP VJ23A , 'Lucky Strike'.

This is probably our most favorite project. Our VJ23 Lucky Strike bike will undergo radical modifications. We plan on a full satin black frame and swingarm. Wheels, brakes and suspension will be replaced with up market items. The engine will get a full build with a modified and strengthened crankshaft, ported cylinders and reshaped heads. Crankcases will undergo a fair bit of flow work to make the best of our modified cylinders. Electrics will be race kit items as will the pressurised airbox. We have not yet decided on the carburation system as yet and hopefully it will be something special. Bike will run basic datalogging for detonation, TPS and RPM. We are aiming at 75+ HP on this one.

*** Due to extremely busy workshop activities this bike will not be completed as intended by October as scheduled BUT it is currently undergoing fitment of new front end, wheels and brakes. It looks absolutely magic and pictures will follow shortly.
